  1. Millions of Americans were without health care even under the ACA. They just had to pay for insurance they couldn't afford to use. Insurance isn't the same thing as "health care".

  2. Dr. Saphier is correct, we need better "health care" not what they call insurance. A person should be able to choose the type of health care they want. Why would a healthy 21 year old male need birth control? The individual mandate is history and that's a good thing.

  3. It only works if you don't. Like planned parenthood should be called unparenthood, it should be called the unaffordable care act! Remember the good ole days , when you had paid employer or low cost health or you had the freedom to buy your own or just pay out of pocket if you even had to visit a doctor in a years time, and Medical card for single mothers. It's almost like they screwed the health insurance thing up to get people to accept a single payer system when it's presented. They going to screw with car insurance or homeowners next? Anything the government touches turns to shit!

  4. Health care full reform I can wait, but the most important one the Obama mandate is gone and that's what matters the most.

  5. If you choose not to pay for healthcare, thats fine. But you also shouldnt be allowd to seek any medical attention if you get hurt or sick. Just because you dont want to pay for your healthcare, doesnt mean the other tax payers should pay for you.

  6. All it means is that there will be less money to pay off the uninsurance companies that the shitbird obama awarded with schmodama care so that they would pay out the lease amount in history.

  7. Didn't Trump eliminate the need to buy health insurance? Yet the IRS can still fine us? What gives? https://www.shrm.org/ResourcesAndTools/hr-topics/benefits/Pages/tax-returns-health-coverage.aspx

  9. Corporate funded campaigns to defund and repeal ObamaCare are responsible for a lot of the false and slanted information on ObamaCare and jobs. This is because it's cheaper for them to lobby the Government and fund anti-ObamaCare campaigns than it is to pay their share of it's costs, to provide health coverage and to sacrifice their hold over workers by controlling their only access to health care for them and their families.

  10. The Dr. said she believes that people should have coverage of some sort. Are the insurance companies guaranteeing that they will provide "some sort" of coverage for everyone?

  11. I’ve been working since I was 18 and have never been with out healthcare but when I switched jobs ind was without healthcare for 90 days I was charged a tax when I was unemployed for 4 months and could not afford
cobra and did nit qualify for Medicare or Medicare I was again charged a tax this is so wrong
I did not want to be without healthcare but stuff happens
